Soke's new book is out, "Unarmed Fighting Techniques of the Samurai" and hopefully everyone has had a chance to order it. All of the other books through Kodansha in the past have been high quality productions and I fully expect this to be no different.

Training in Columbia is moving along as always, the current focus of the past few months has deviated from the standard "theme of the year" and has not focused much on Togakure Ryu outside the study of ukemi no gokui; instead we have spent some time looking at Koto Ryu as well as nage waza. The emphasis on throwing will continue for some time... so conversely, personal practice on ukemi will also be emphasized for people's personal training.
